In Fall 2023, the Neenah High School Dedication celebrated the opening of a state-of-the-art educational facility, a testament to the Neenah Joint School District’s commitment to advanced learning. Spread over 225 acres, this modern school is equipped with specialized facilities for both academic and extracurricular activities, including numerous student and athletic lockers, extensive parking, and a variety of educational and recreational spaces.
A notable feature of the school is its innovative design, incorporating ASI Architectural’s Flat Fusion Panels, Grille, Strandtec, and Perforated Panels. These elements are strategically used in ceilings, walls, windows, high traffic areas and reading nooks, contributing to the school’s aesthetic and functional excellence.
Bray Architects, renowned for their expertise in educational and civic design, collaborated closely with the Neenah Joint School District to create this facility. It enriches the student experience by integrating academics, activities, arts, and athletics, while also facilitating teacher collaboration through thoughtfully designed workspaces.
The school’s layout promotes an immersive learning environment. Classrooms for science, technology, art, and family and consumer sciences are strategically placed and feature transparent connections to corridors, enhancing visibility and accessibility. The interior design, highlighted by ASI Architectural’s wood finishes paired with economically efficient ceiling tiles, adds warmth and visual appeal. The cafeteria, corridors, and windows showcase the Flat Fusion panels, and the Grille product is used in walls and ceilings, blending design with acoustical function. The color palette includes natural wood tones with accents of red and white, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. Neenah High Schools auditorium features ASI’s perforated panels as well for acoustical control with beautiful wood throughout.
